This season, camouflage style garments have made a warmly welcomed comeback. They can be seen everywhere (ironic considering camouflage’s original purpose don’t you think *cringe wink face emoji appropriate here*… ) I am definitely not complaining though, as who doesn’t want to try and replicate the sexy camo outfits in the Destiny’s Child video circa 2001, am I right! 13 year old me who was a huge Bey fan would be extremely glad I was embracing the camo trend all these years later.
Anyhow, this outfit post consists of my all time favourite camo garment, my vintage army jacket. I found this gem in an army shop in Southampton, but similar items can be spotted from catwalk to high-street. I have matched it with other similar tones to create a earthy coloured look. Take a scroll through my styling of my camo jacket, and have a look underneath my outfit images for a deeper look into this seasons camo takeover.
Anyone who knows me well knows how much I am obsessed with the colour silver. Actually, that would be kinda an understatement.. I am obsessed with anything that glimmers. There is definitely a special place in my heart reserved for holographic and shiny objects and garments (magpies come to mind? hmm). Hence, I have chosen to pair the earth tones in my clothing with these silver Reebok Leather Spirit Silver Trainers which you can get and other similar colours here for only £49.99. The contrast I feel is quite striking, but works well in bringing out both the silver and the green tones through the disparity. Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
